Shooting from high in the sky, Laura Bogan’s camera becomes the instrument through which she captures the Gulf Coast’s breathtaking beauty in a way that drone images simply can’t match.
A graduate of Louisiana State University and the University of West Florida, Laura is a strong believer in the power of images to tell stories in a way that no other medium can. Her stunning images document life on the Gulf Coast, home to some of the world’s most beautiful beaches and America’s first settlement.
When she’s not in a helicopter, Laura is usually taking photos on the ground for clients across the Gulf Coast, including the City of Pensacola, the National Flight Academy, and the Blue Angels Association.
My name is Katie and I live in Pensacola, Florida. I grew up as a Navy brat, but lived most of my life in Pensacola, and it is Pensacola that I consider my hometown. I spent close to 14 years in Auburn between attending college and meeting my husband there, we found jobs in Auburn. I became a Travel Agent and was able to travel and experience different places around the globe.
In recent years I have enjoyed being able to photograph the Blue Angels as the National Naval Aviation Museum Volunteer Flight Line Photographer. Since growing up in a Navy family I was surrounded by naval aviation. My respect and interest for aviation has only increased over the years.
My passion for photography has only grown over the years and I would love to share my photos with you all! You can usually catch me chasing the sun whether it's sunrise or sunset, all things military aviation, and of course our world class sandy white beaches. Photography has allowed me to discover the beauty of a place.
I hope when you see my photos they allow you to feel like you are enjoying some of these unforgettable moments with me. You can purchase my prints by visiting https://katieboddenphoto.com and follow me on Instagram at katie.bodden to see more photos!
