We’re back with more from the HELLCAT HANGAR!
We told you in Episode 1 how there was a very common theme concerning the decision to pursue Naval Aviation. This episode gets to the heart of it from three retired aviators that collectively spent close to 100 years in Naval Aviation.
Starting with former Blue Angel Commanding Officer CAPT Greg Wooldridge. He tells us his plan for his future and how that turned out. Next we hear from CAPT R. Vann Goodloe and what he thought he was going to do in aviation. It wasn’t what he expected. And lastly, CAPT John Paganelli, who got a letter from his draft board (Korean War) and decided to pay a visit to a Navy recruiter.
We hope these stories inspire the next generation of Naval Aviators. Sometimes it’s a rocky road and you aren’t always certain where it’s going. These stories prove that it’s not just ‘golden boys’ and ‘Mavericks’ that achieve their dreams.
